A wonderful day with Lil Peanut

I take so many pictures of Lil Peanut it's hard to keep track of them! Here are pictures of our amazing Easter Sunday. We had so much fun playing at the park!

Pictures that just make me smile

It amazes me how the quickest lil moments in seeing Lil Peanut grow can bring such joy to my heart!
Here are some pictures that I think say it all!
 Enjoy!

Scrub-a-dub-dub Lil Peanut in the Tub

Lil Peanut in the bath tub. This is quickly becoming a very wet messy ritual with all the splashing that is going on. Target has some of the cutest bath time toys, and at very reasonable prices. Which makes it easy to love that store even more.
I do have to say it works like a charm when he needs to be tired out so he'll go to bed!

Enjoy the cute pictures ;)

Peanut's Big First Birthday Day

We had an amazing weekend. Peanut's first birthday was on Friday so I took him to the Aquarium to see all the neat fish, reptiles, and even a tiger! Oh my! Here are just a few pictures of our day there.

Peanut reaching out to touch the fish.

This Sting Ray swam right over our heads!

When Peanut saw this orangutan he stared making his monkey sounds.

ooo oo ooooo he says.

And then he roarrrred for the tiger.

We had a great time ;)

but look at that hair soooo, I decided what better day to get his hair cut for the first time than on his first birthday!

I mean just look at that hair!

His hair is all wet and ready...

All smiles on the first cut!

Looking sharp ;)

Overall it was an amazing weekend, and I can't wait to see what this next year brings in our lives. Lord knows the He already gave me the greatest gift ;)

Peanut's First Birthday Party!

This weekend was Lil Peanut's 1st birthday party. I decided an appropriate theme for his 1st birthday should be around his nickname lil Peanut. Here are the details. Enjoy!

I designed the invitations on photoshop and had a local printer print them on card stock for me. Here's a tip for the thrifty momma like me...when using a print shop ask that they not cut the invites for you I saved almost 75% by just cutting the invites by myself!

The Goods

Since we were having brunch I wanted a lighter dessert so I had La Momo Maes make angel food cake cupcakes. They were absolutely beautiful! And they were perfect for peanut's first taste of sweet stuff.

For the party favors everyone got a sack of circus peanuts.

I found the cutest birthday hat at Hobby Lobby, but it didn't match my color scheme so I bought felt that matched and just redesigned the hat so it would match peanut's party!

Since peanut can't walk just yet I decided to have brunch at our favorite place to eat out which is The Egg and I. Here are some of the pictures of Peanut enjoying his birthday party, and of course his birthday cupcake.

Silly birthday boy

Getting ready for the good part

He smashed right into it!

Still enjoying the good stuff

Can you tell????

All smiles after the shindig ;)

Playing with his balloons.
It's the first time peanut ever saw balloons.

We had an amazing time with friends and family. I want to thank everyone for sharing this special day with us!

Peanut in the Box

Last night I have to say I feel silly for spending money on a bunch of toys when I quickly found out that the simplest things entertain my lil peanut. I think the pictures say it all ;)

Papa is helping Peanut climb into the box...

And then he played hide-n-go-seek for awhile ;)

Busy night for Peanut

I was able to work a different shift today so I got off work early and was able to spend a full night with Peanut. Boy did we have a busy night! We admired the new rug that Papa made for us, it's a very cute monkey that goes perfect with our jungle nursery. Thanks Papa!

Then Kaiden climbed the stairs for the 1st time with out stopping.

He just kept going...

He made it!

As soon as peanut got to the top of the stairs he had to turn around,

and gave Momma a big "I did it" grin!

We ended the night with some great books, and a snacker bottle.
I can honestly say I cherish every lil moment with my peanut.
