Making Easter Stuff

Lil Peanut had a blast finger painting the paper to cut Easter eggs out of. He had such a great time smearing all the colors together. He saw the paint brush I was using to dish out the paint and grabbed it and knew exactly what it's purpose was.
It is so amazing to witness how smart he is and how much he is truly starting to understand!
It was a great time enjoy the pictures!

An amazing day!

Lil Peanut, Auntie Amy and I had an amazingly fun St. Patty's Day! We went to the parade in Denver. I heard it is the largest St. Patty's Day parade west of the Mississippi river. It must be true because the news said 150,000 people were there! We watched the parade for awhile and then walked a couple of blocks to grab lunch. It was amazing weather, and great fun.
Here are just a few pictures ;)

Papa love...

Yesterday while at Starbucks Papa and Lil Peanut had the best time just standing and starring out the window watching all that was busy out in the world. Mimi was there too! I am so thankful to have such wonderful parents that have been so helpful and so involved in Lil Peanuts life. It really has been the shinning difference in my success in the whole single motherhood adventure!
Love you guys ;)

Lil Peanuts trip to the park

I had a very busy weekend so this is the first chance I've had to be able to post things that happened last week ;) Lil peanut and I enjoyed a beautiful day last Monday with his first trip to the park and his first time on a swing and the slide. He loved the swing! He was holding on so tight his knuckles were turning white haha. Every time he swung towards me he would giggle uncontrollably. Next we were off to the slide, Lil peanut is almost walking on his own and only holding on to one of my fingers. He kept stopping on our way to the slide to pick up sand and let it fall through his lil fingers. When we finally made it to the slide he sat at the top and held on for dear life. He was laughing and slowly scooting forward but you could tell he didn't want to let go.
It was so amazing to witness this new experience for him!!! Just another reason I love being a momma ;)

Our fun weekend

Hello everyone it's been awhile since I've posted anything, Lil Peanut and I have been adjusting to my new work schedule which changes the daily routine for both of us! Lil Peanut has been busy trying to walk on his own. Right now he is a pro furniture surfer :) This last Saturday we went shopping with Auntie Amy, it was such nice weather to be out on the street mall and enjoying the buzzing atmoshpere. Here are a few pictures of the weekend!

Things to love as a Momma

Hello everyone! I hope the week is treating you right. This week has been a very fun and exciting week for Lil Peanut and I. He is really starting to take off with the furniture surfing, and since he is starting to walk more with less and less help I thought it was a perfect time for his first pair of Nike's :) So we went to the store and tried a bunch of fun shoes out, it took a little bit of time but we found the perfect set of tennies for him! I have also been working on getting him on a new earlier schedule for bedtime. My work schedule is changing next week and we both need to start going to bed much earlier! Peanut has been doing well with this, I found a very helpful article on one of my fav sites for momma's it is also a great magazine called Parenting. I highly suggest it. I also have to share a great idea called BoddlerBites. It's easy ideas for recipes and foods to feed your budding toddler. They are like little flash cards so it makes it very user friendly! I know for me it is sometimes hard to think of new and exciting food combos for Peanut to eat since he might not be able to have what I am having for dinner due to spices and such. Well enjoy the weekend to come I have to go check on sleeping Lil Peanut. Nighty Night ;)

Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day.
Lil Peanut was my valentines.
A very cute one I might add.  Enjoy the pictures ;)

We started off the morning by opening his valentines from Mimi, and Momma.
Mimi bought him the cutest Elmo that if you press his tummy he blows kisses.
And I bought him some more books to add to his library.

And then I made Peanut heart shaped pancakes for breakfast!

He has a shirt on that says " I  ♥ Mom"

Aww love this Peanut ;)

And then he took a nap...he had a very busy morning haha
