A Trip to the Zoo

Lil Peanut enjoyed a nice afternoon at the Denver Zoo. His few favorite highlights were the train ride, carousel, and seeing the dragons (the Komodo Dragon that is). It was a hot and humid day and we found relief in the shaded penguin exhibit and the gorilla house. We ended the day gazing at the giraffes. It's a great, cheap family fun filled activity.

Parade Time

This past Saturday Lil Peanut and I enjoyed the local county fair parade. We had a good time watching the tractors, horses, and marching bands go by ;)

Wow it's July!

Lil Peanut and I have been so busy it's hard to believe its already the beginning of July! The weather has been great and we have been busy swimming, going to the park, and camping ;) here are a few pics from the last few weeks!

Summer Time

Instead of always having to pull out the swimming pool and fill it up, this year I bought Lil Peanut a water table in addition to his swimming pool. He loves this because there a bunch of cups, funnels, and boats to play with. He can experiment and learn through play. And the best part is he can still get soaked and it's half the mess!

Home Run Fun

Lil Peanut and I went to the Rockies game this past weekend and had a blast. He wanted to keep going on to the field to go play. To top it off it was amazing weather!
