Puppy Love

Bath time is a great time where I get to sit and observe Lil Peanuts creativity. He is so awesome with his imagination with the bubbles in the tub and all of his water toys. After all the scrub-a-dubbin in through his favorite part is drying off with his towel. Well you can see why... ;)

100 Year Flood

This has been a long week for Lil Peanut, myself and the people of Northern and Eastern Colorado. We have experience a horrible 100 year flooding in our area. Thousands of homes are damaged and destroyed. Luckily our house was safe enough with minor issues but all of the roads running north and south were closed. Our town was split in two.

I was very grateful and blessed to be able to spend a couple of days with my family and just relax. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone dealing with the Colorado flooding.

A Trip to the Zoo

Lil Peanut enjoyed a nice afternoon at the Denver Zoo. His few favorite highlights were the train ride, carousel, and seeing the dragons (the Komodo Dragon that is). It was a hot and humid day and we found relief in the shaded penguin exhibit and the gorilla house. We ended the day gazing at the giraffes. It's a great, cheap family fun filled activity.

Parade Time

This past Saturday Lil Peanut and I enjoyed the local county fair parade. We had a good time watching the tractors, horses, and marching bands go by ;)

Wow it's July!

Lil Peanut and I have been so busy it's hard to believe its already the beginning of July! The weather has been great and we have been busy swimming, going to the park, and camping ;) here are a few pics from the last few weeks!
